We have created a hands-on workshop experience for leaders, faculty, researchers, IT staff, librarians, and archivists. This workshop provides information, tools, and resources to support and enable many day-to-day activities on your campus.
This workshop provides opportunities for networking and connecting with your peers, potential collaborators, and partners via breakout sessions, discussion groups, and hosted meals. Please review the proposed workshop agenda (below) for additional details.

What Workshop Participants Can Expect
The MS-CC Science and Research Technology Workshop offers a dynamic, two-day experience focused on advancing research through technology, collaboration, and training. Attendees will explore how cyberinfrastructure, data tools, and AI support research and workforce development across HBCUs and TCUs.
Expect panels, hands-on sessions, and interactive discussions—plus networking with faculty, technologists, and funding partners committed to building resilient research ecosystems.
MS-CC Workshop Series
The MS-CC workshop at Tuskegee University is one of several workshops the MS-CC and Internet2 are planning at campuses throughout 2025.
If the MS-CC workshop in Tuskegee, Alabama, is not geographically convenient for you, additional workshops are under consideration and will be announced throughout 2025. Parking
Participants are advised to use the main gate, known as the Lincoln Gate, located at 1200 West Montgomery Road, Tuskegee Institute, AL 36088. All participants joining the workshop must provide their state ID to enter the campus. Please note that parking is first-come, first-served. A campus map can be found here.
Reimbursements
We will be able to reimburse reasonable mileage (within a 250-mile radius of Tuskegee University) and hotel expenses for MS-CC participants who are located more than 50 miles from the university.
- Before the Workshop: Complete the MS-CC travel support acceptance form by October 13, 2025, as part of the registration process.
- After the Workshop: Participants will receive instructions for submitting their reimbursement requests in the post-workshop email on October 15.

Workshop participants must abide by Tuskegee University’s COVID-19 guidelines while participating.
Participants are currently not required to wear masks at Tuskegee University.
