Hands-on data science and machine learning training with HBCU undergrads at the MS-CC Planetary Resilience Workshop, led by Purdue RCAC at Clark Atlanta University.
Registration
Registration is FREE for participants from campuses within a 250-mile radius of Clark Atlanta University and is open through Friday, June 6, 2025.
We have crafted a hands-on workshop experience for faculty, researchers, IT staff, and students. Librarians and archivists will also benefit from the workshop, which provides information, tools, and resources to support and enhance research activities on your campus.
This workshop also offers opportunities for networking and connecting with peers, potential collaborators, and partners through breakout sessions, discussion groups, and hosted meals. The MS-CC Planetary Resilience Workshop provides a dynamic, two-day experience that focuses on advancing research through technology, collaboration, and training. Attendees will explore how cyberinfrastructure, data tools, and AI support research and workforce development across HBCUs and TCUs.
Expect panels, hands-on sessions, and interactive discussions—plus networking with faculty, technologists, and funding partners committed to building resilient research ecosystems.
MS-CC Workshop Series
The MS-CC workshop at Clark Atlanta University is one of several workshops the MS-CC and Internet2 are planning at campuses throughout 2025.
If the MS-CC workshop in Atlanta, Georgia is not geographically convenient for you, additional workshops focused on planet resiliency and research development are under consideration and will be announced throughout 2025. Parking
Participants are advised to use the Clark Atlanta University parking lot located at 190 Mildred St SW, Atlanta, GA 30314. Upon arrival, you will find clearly marked arrows directing you to the designated parking area. The MS-CC will provide all participants with a parking voucher(s) before their departure on both days of the workshop. For further inquiries, please consult the Clark Atlanta Parking Policy and Procedures.
Reimbursements
As an MS-CC participant, we will be able to reimburse reasonable mileage (within a 250-mile radius of Clark Atlanta University) and hotel expenses for MS-CC participants located more than 50 miles from the university.
Before the Workshop: Complete the MS-CC travel support acceptance form by June 10, 2025, which is included in the registration form process.
After the Workshop, Participants will receive instructions for submitting their reimbursement requests in the post-workshop email on June 12.
