The MS-CC Leadership Board (CLB) is pleased to announce the election of three new board members whose terms began on January 1, 2024.
The CLB is the governing body of the MS-CC that provides oversight on policy and strategic direction and is guided by the MS-CC Charter.

We would like to acknowledge outgoing CLB member Jim Bottum, ECE Research Professor of Emeritus College at Clemson University. The MS-CC was informally established in 2018 as an outcome of an NSF CI Empower grant awarded to Clemson University under Jim’s leadership as principal investigator. During a workshop organized as part of the NSF CI Empower grant, representatives from 16 HBCUs participated, and a primary takeaway was the need for a consortium to achieve together what they cannot do separately. Thank you Jim for your contributions and dedication to the vision of the MS-CC!
