MS-CC is thrilled to have Jessica Johnson join our team as the CI facilitator.
Jessica will bring expertise in facilitating cyberinfrastructure resources for research and educational programs. Her role will focus on promoting data-driven research and education by leveraging cutting-edge IT solutions. She will work closely with Al Anderson, the MS-CC Director of Cyberinfrastructure Programs, and the rest of the CI Team to provide CI services to the MS-CC Community.
Jessica has a comprehensive background in research, STEM strategy, and program management. With a strong foundation in qualitative and quantitative research, she has driven impactful initiatives in STEM education, workforce development, and community engagement.
Her leadership at organizations like STEMconnector, STE(A)M Truck, and MakerUSA has enhanced community engagement, strengthened partnerships, and delivered actionable insights to improve educational outcomes.
Most recently, Jessica authored a detailed landscape assessment on Maker Education in the metro Atlanta region. The assessment highlights regional challenges and opportunities while serving as a resource for emerging maker spaces. Additionally, her notable reports include The Power of Partnerships with Minority Serving Institutions; Connecting Employee Engagement and Volunteerism; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in STEM: 2023; and State of STEM: Challenges and Opportunities.
